Agent

What it is

Agent is a Core-only plugin — it is not part of @norbital-ai/pod. On Core it helps people explore data, navigate apps, summarize records, and — for builders — draft workspace source under review.

Agent is available to Executive and Builder seat types on Core. It runs through the same pod policy model as manual UI actions; AI usage is billed separately from seat licenses.

What Agent can help with

• Answer questions about collections, fields, and workspace structure
• Retrieve and summarize records within the user's access scope
• Navigate to apps, tasks, approvals, and Workspace Studio admin screens
• Assist builders with drafting source changes that still require human sync and go live

Why it respects governance

Agent cannot bypass access policies or release controls. Structural changes stay in the edit workspace until a builder syncs preview and goes live. Operators without builder access can use Agent for analysis and navigation, not for authoring releases.

Agent shortens the path from question to answer inside operational data. Executives get a trusted assistant; builders get a faster drafting partner — without giving up review, preview, or approval workflows.
